Has it really been that long since I have written on this blog (and, written on my book?)
Remember when you were a child and you could NOT WAIT until your next birthday? And then when you hit high school, you could NOT WAIT until you were graduating. Time always seemed to go so slow. I was always looking ahead. Well, at some point in the last 14 years, my desire to speed up time has completely died and I now wish for time to SLOW DOWN!! I blinked and Madelyn has turned from a baby to a little girl. And my ideas about my writing that seemed so current are now almost a year old. I wish I had some great excuse as to why I haven't written, but I don't. All I have a is an ugly 4-letter word - LAZY. Lazy! Now there are probably some psychological reasons for my laziness, but I don't want to go there now, because I already know the cure to laziness - action! Madelyn starts Mother's Day Out in two weeks. She will be going 3 days a week, and I want to spend as much of that time as possible to start writing again. If anyone out there is reading this, I ask you to periodically ask me how my writing is going - and get onto me if I haven't written! I do NOT want another year to go by with nothing to show for it!!!!!

I will remind you! It's great to see you writing again!
ReplyDeleteI was actually thinking about your writing the other day. Iwas reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin (I think you would like it), and she talked about the write a book in November project. It made me think of you. There ia also a company that will take your book and bind it, that would be cool when you finish.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of The Happiness Project. I'll check it out!
